Workout update

Plan the work, and work the plan. I’ve been workin’ it. My work started a Biggest Loser contest on April 1. I had started doing the Couch to 5K thing back before Christmas, and this was good timing to kick everything up a notch. It didn’t hurt that it coincided with the time change and we have more daylight after work. It seems the planets aligned.

Since April 1st, I have worked out 69 times for a total of about 88 hours – walking, yoga, C25K, yardwork, chores, housework, you name it. I have lost 15 lbs. and my pants are baggier, hurray! I can run 3 minutes IN A ROW on the treadmill, ha ha! Also during that time I had to take 2 business trips which posed its own set of challenges.

This is good.
